How it works

Step 1 - Primary Treatment

Raw wastewater enters the first tank (the primary). Solids are separated here before the water moves on to secondary treatment through the prefilter. Everything that floats or sinks stays behind as sludge

Step 2 - Secondary Treatment

The pre-treated water is spread evenly over the media. It trickles down through several layers of media, separated by open layers where air flows naturally and feeds the aerobic bacteria without any airpump.

Step 3 - Tertiary treatment

The final, finer layer of media filters out the remaining particles. The treated water then collects at the bottom of the tank and either leaves through the low outlet or is automatically pumped to the surface for irrigation or other reuse.
